The Colloquium Harleianum cannot be traced back in a more or less complete way to any of the known or extant Hermeneumata. The work has primarily come down to us through ms. London, British Library, Harley 5642 (9th-10th c.). Important fragments of it are found in papyrus Prag. II 118 (4th/5th c.), while a now-lost testimonium allowed Claude Saumaise (Claudius Salmasius) to gather other parts of it in the 17th c. (now ms. Paris, Bibliothèque Nationale, lat. 7683). In 2015, Eleanor Dickey published a critical edition of the text accompanied by an English translation and commentary. [P. Gatti; tr. C. L. Caterine].
