De controuersiis agrorum is the title of the treatise on land-surveying written by Agennius Vrbicus, included in the Corpus Agrimensorum Romanorum. It was written in the fourth century AD. It includes a detailed discussion of legal controversies that could arise between land-owners regarding land. The text is fragmentary. A continuous line of argument linking the different sections of the work is often lacking.

It is possible to infer the original plan of the whole original work. It was in at least six books. The first book was on the artifex, the second on the ars, the third on the scientia metiundi; the fourth included the text on controversies that has come to us. The only information available to us on books five and six is that they continued the treatment of the scientia metiundi. There is no sure proof that the fragments unrelated to controversies come all from the fourth book. [D. Paniagua; translation L. Battezzato]
