A new edition is being prepared by Rolando Ferri.

In 1495, the German humanist Conrad Celtis copied the sole manuscript transmitting the so-called Hermeneumata Celtis: Wien, Österreichische Nationalbibliothek, suppl. gr. 43.  His exemplar is presumed to have been a late-antique codex dating to the 6th c.  What remains of the text is a colloquium and a series of 48 capitula, but it will originally have included an alphabetical glossary of about 11,300 entries.  The text has yet to be edited in its entirety, but recent years have witnessed the publication of select capitula (Johannes Kramer edited 180 names of public offices in 2001, and the first five capitula with 407 entries in 2004; Paolo Gatti published 99 names of fish in 2006), and editions of the colloquium were published by Carlotta Dionisotti in 1982 and Eleanor Dickey in 2015.  Rolando Ferri is currently preparing an edition of the complete text.  [P.
